Privacy Policy
Effective October 24, 2026
Expedite Medical LLC ("Expedite", "we", "us") makes Expedite RCM, software that medical practices and billing services use to run their billing, scheduling and patient accounts. This policy explains what information we handle, why, and how we protect it.
Who this policy covers
It covers visitors to www.expeditercm.com, the people who use Expedite RCM at the practices and billing services we serve, and patients who receive text messages sent through Expedite RCM by their practice.
Patient health information in Expedite RCM belongs to the practice. We handle it only on the practice's behalf, as its business associate under HIPAA, and only as our agreement with the practice allows. Questions about your health records should go to your practice.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number and message when you request a demo or contact support.
- Account information: the name, email address and, if they choose to enter it, mobile phone number of each person who uses Expedite RCM.
- Information practices enter: patient, insurance and billing information that a practice keeps in Expedite RCM, including patient phone numbers.
- Usage information: sign-in times and the screens used, kept to support the service and keep it secure.
This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking or advertising tools.
How we use information
- to provide, support and secure Expedite RCM;
- to answer your requests and support questions;
- to send text messages that a practice or its staff send through Expedite RCM (see below);
- to meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Text messages
Practices use Expedite RCM to send one-way text messages to patients about their accounts and appointments, and staff can receive text messages about work waiting for them in the application. Texts are sent from an Expedite toll-free number and name the practice and its phone number to call.
- Consent: patients agree to receive text messages when they give their mobile number to their practice. Staff agree by entering their own mobile number in their Expedite RCM settings.
- No sharing: mobile phone numbers and text message consent are not shared with, sold to, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. They are shared only with the companies that deliver the messages (our text message provider and the mobile carriers), and only to deliver them.
- Opting out: reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts from that number. Staff can also remove their mobile number in their settings. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
Who we share information with
Only with service providers that help us run Expedite RCM (such as our cloud hosting and text message providers), under agreements that require them to protect it; with the practice that the information belongs to; and when the law requires it. Health information is shared only as HIPAA and our business associate agreements allow.
How we protect information
Expedite RCM runs on Microsoft Azure. Information is encrypted in transit and at rest, access requires a Microsoft Entra sign-in, and each practice sees only its own data.
How long we keep information
For as long as the practice's agreement with us lasts and as the law requires. Records of text messages sent are kept with the practice's records.
Your choices
To see, correct or remove information a practice keeps about you, contact the practice. For information we keep directly, such as a demo request, email support@expeditercm.com.
Changes
We will post any change to this policy on this page with a new effective date.
